MANGOSTEEN - (Garcinia Mangostana)

Mangosteen is an exotic tropical botanical from South East Asia and is commonly referred to as “the Queen of fruits” and “the fruit of the gods”. It had a sweet taste and amazing health benefits proven over the centuries by its use in everyday Asian medicines and remedies. Commonly found in Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, it has long been used in teas and tonics to cure a multitude of ailments, including dysentery, skin infections, control of fevers, to lower cholesterol, treat tumors and cancers, boost overall wellbeing and immunity with antioxidants, and to protect the body from free radicals. Around 70 years ago the western world discovered Mangosteens many beneficial qualities, and since then it has been documented in a multitude of scientific journals.
